BDG evaluates the condition of exterior cladding systems by using infrared thermography to map areas of moisture entrapment and delimitation caused by environmental stress.
We can identify potential hidden defects in many different cladding systems, from single coat stucco systems, to Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS), to siding. We are often the first to identify signs of a potentially larger problem because water intrusion from the building exterior can take years to show up on the interior, at which point extensive damage has already been done.

Our team can evaluate up to 300,000 SF in a single visit via our walk-over method, or millions of square feet with our aerial drone service. We are FAA-authorized to perform nighttime aerial infrared roof inspections throughout the United States with an approved Daylight Operation Waiver under 14 CFR § 107.29.
After each BDG inspection, we interpret the infrared data and provide clients with a comprehensive report. High-resolution digital images can be provided in a traditional PDF report format that outlines concerns found during the inspection and recommendations for proper repairs. They can also be uploaded to our cloud reporting platform to produce a large format stitched image or a 3D model that can easily be annotated, measured, and shared.
